Description: Conventional mechanical demolition of two bridges over Minjungbal drive, Banora Point Northern NSW. Demolition of 2,500 tonnes post tensioned and reinforced concrete bridges in two days 7th and 8th February 2011, including preliminary temporary steel propping and bracing, sequential demolition to grillage design, plastic hinging and demolition of post tensioned strands. Road re-opened 9th February 2011.
